Barbara Walters vs Adam Briel (10 Fascinating People of 2010)

Recently Barbara Walters has come out with her ten most fascinating people of 2010.  This aired just a couple weeks ago and I have to say I am really disappointed at who fascinates Barbara.  You would think with the experience and celebrities she has access to, she could come up with a better list than what she had. 

After seeing the show and critiquing her selections I decided…maybe I should make a list.  Maybe I should make a list of MY most fascinating people and write it as if I am actually interviewing said fascinating person.  What a great idea!

First I think give you Barbara’s ten most fascinating people with a short comment of my opinion for each:

Lebron is a classless coward who can’t win on his own.  Next!!!

She is the next judge of American Idol…but why JLo and not Stephen Tyler?

I am actually okay with this one as you will find her on my list below.

Old actress/comedian who gained popularity for no real good reason.

I guess General in general are pretty fascinating.

I guess he would be fascinating to a 13 year old girl.  Is Barbara really fascinated by Justin Bieber?

Really?  Marrying into the royal family is fascinating?  I think not!

I can’t believe anyone is fascinated by her at all.  Even her reality show is a snoozefest.

He is actually a pretty fascinating guy; he is also on my list.

Okay ladies and gentlemen, now we get into the meat and potatoes of what should have been the most fascinating people of 2010.  I have formulated this list of some big stores and controversies and some of my favorite people of 2010.  Below you will find my list of most fascinating people and it is based on if all these characters would speak openly and honestly to all questions asked.  I have five questions for each fascinating person and I would really like to hear the honest to God answers to each.

Adam Briel's ten most fascinating people of 2010:

Question 1: You have already conquered the world on your first two albums and broke the record with number one singles, what is left for you in 2011?  Do you fear you will get bored with the success or worse yet fold under the pressure of matching your early success?  Now that you have won all these awards and sold millions upon millions of albums, how can you possible duplicate that success on your next album?  I heard you are going with a more rock influence which I am excited about since I really dug “Speechless” and that had a more rock / live band feel to it.

Question 2: Why don’t you come clean with me and just say the reason you wore the meat suite was for attention?  I know what you said about if we don’t stand up for our rights we will have as much rights as the meat on our bones but that is stretching a bit…don’t you think?  Isn’t the reason you wear the outfits you do and behave the way you do is for publicity and to stay in the eye of the public?  It makes sense to me; I just want to know from you.

Question 3: What do you honestly think of artists like Ke$ha that seem to be the poor man’s Lady Gaga?  I see her dressing similar to you, acting bizarre (sometimes emulating you) and gaining a decent amount of success (#1 single of 2010) yet doesn’t have nearly the amount of talent you do.  I would be terribly annoyed with that white trash vocal pitch corrected bitch trying to complete with me if I were you.

Question 4: With your videos being more of a short film, are you planning on an acting career in the future? If you were cast in a film would there be any limits in terms of nudity or sex?

Question 5: What is your opinion of pitch correction?  Everyone is doing it but in my opinion it cheapens every song it is used.  If you are not talented enough to sing songs in pitch and need to rely on a computer program, you are garbage and do not belong in the music industry.  What do you think?

Question 1:  What goes through your mind when you decide to kill a young girl?  Is it a sexual urge and you cannot control yourself or is this a premeditated challenge to see if you can get away with the crime?   You have been involved in many different crimes such as organizing sex slaves, extortion and wire fraud, is getting away with Murder the goal?

Question 2: Beth Halloway recently visited you in prison to try and get closure or some sort of response as to what you did with her daughter.  She told you she forgives you and knows there has to be a reason as to why you killed her daughter yet you said nothing except you needed to speak to your attorney.  Her only purpose was to know if you in fact killed her daughter and where her body is so she can give her a proper burial.  You have no idea the love for a child a parent has and when a tragedy such as murder happens to your child yet there is not conclusive information, it drives you insane.  There will be no healing for this woman and her family until the facts are all finally revealed.  Why will you not tell her the truth? 

Question 3: What do you think should happen to you from here on out?  In your mind, should you be released to live and prey on other women or should you be killed like you did to your victims?  If you were running the justice system and were responsible for handing out a sentence, would you drop the charges knowing what the courts know about you?

Question 4: Do you care what your parents / relative think of you know?  If by some miracle you are released someday, do you care that people view you as a murderous villain? 

Question 5: I know you think you are very smart, but did you really think you would get away with Murder?  Don’t you think it was completely idiotic to try and extort money from the Halloway’s in return for information about her death?  You were secretly video tapped a few years ago  saying Natalie died on the beach with you and you arranged to have her body dumped in the ocean, then you say you were lying to try and impress the listener.  Are you seriously that dumb?

Question 1: Since the affairs and news broke, you haven’t been the same on the golf course, why do you think that is?

Question 2: Since the truth has come out with you sleeping around with numerous girls why not embrace this new life, live the old life since it is what you are used to and have fun again?  Why do you need the conservative public in your business?  If you are single, you can sleep with whomever you want without any repercussions.  I believe if you did that, you would not only regain your golf form, but you would experience a new breed of fan who appreciates you being you.

Question 3: I recently listened to you interview on the Mike and Mike show on ESPN radio and they asked if you were happier now.  You responded “Yes, infinitely Happier.”  Why are you lying to the American public?  How can you be happier now since you lost your family and have tarnished you reputation.  If I were you, I would have been happier being #1 Golfer, being stinking rich, having a hot wife, great children all while sleeping with playboy models and random girls whenever I felt like it.  Why can’t you be honest with us and stop lying? 

Question 4: What’s up with banging that Perkins waitress?  Were you just in need of some strange pussy that night?  Seriously…I am sure she is a nice person and all but…she is a complete disaster.  It’s fair to say she didn’t really fit in with the other models you had been linked to.

Question 5: How about for 2011 you pick up some whores and hit the links and get back to the old you.  Embrace you bachelorhood, start using your putter in more than one way and regain your number one golfer status.  Make commercials for Nike about “Just Doing it.”

Question 1: I was a fan since the first day I saw you on America’s Got Talent, you were able to showcase your talent while maintaining individuality and creativity. What is the process in which you use to create these new wardrobes and make-up?

Question 2: I saw on the show that you work at a machine shop while living a pretty normal life.  What has changed for you since America’s Got Talent has aired?  As concerns over your sexuality become an issue in your every day life?

Question 3: I told my wife I thought you would end up in Vegas somehow doing something big, do you have anything in the works we should know about?

Question 4:  On America’s Got Talent, you started with Opera and slowly transitioned to more Pop songs.  I believe this was a mistake however I could see you not wanting to completely go head to head with Jackie Evancho since she is a cute little girl and you are…something entirely different yet in the same genre.  Is that the reason you decided to go in a different direction?

Question 5:  After your performances, you would interact with the judges and come up with some pretty entertaining banter.  Is there a chance we could see a return to television in the future?  How about a VH1 show called “Poppycock of Love?”

Question 1: So…what did Oxana do to make you completely crazy?  Honestly, what could someone do to make a person so out of control bat-shit nuts?  I, for one know she has to be guilty of doing something…she was just really good at editing and keeping her secrets out of the spotlight.

Question 2: Regardless of her actions, what would possibly make you punch her in the face, especially while she was holding your child?  Come on man, you never hit a woman and you never hit anyone around your young children.

Question 3: The grass isn’t any greener on the other side is it?  Now that you left your wife and umpteen children with her…seems like she was your downfall doesn’t it? 

Question 4: How terrible is Oxana’s singing?  Seriously, I heard some of her songs and she is horrific.  I hope you didn’t humor her the entire time and feed her bull-shit of how she could be a big pop star.  I know guys do and say some outlandish nonsense when trying to get into a girls pants but please tell me you didn't say she was good!

Question 5: Do you ever listen to those tapes release by you and at least chuckle at some of the crazy things you said?  I mean, “You should just smile and BLOW ME,” was epic.  I loved how every day a new tape would come out and I got to hear the rambling and screaming of such a lunatic.  I thank you for that Mr. Gibson!

Question 1: You have dealt with a lot of illnesses from brain aneurism to a heart condition to a burst appendix, now you have a show focused more on your family life.  Are you happy with the way you are portrayed on your most recent reality show “Bret Michaels, Life as I know It.?”

Question 2: With me being a musician and loving the rush of performing I can only imagine how amazing it is to perform in front of the crowds you do on a daily basis.  On the other hand, the most important aspect of my life is my Children and I want to see them as much as possible.  With what you have accomplished and the money you have, why do you have to tour so much and be away from your family as much as you do?

Question 3: In Las Vegas, there have been acts such as Cher, Elton John, Prince and Tony Braxton that have all signed contracts for big bucks to headline their own show every week on the strip.  I believe you could go that route with your fame not only from Poison but your reality series.  This would give you the fix of live performance that you need and availability to your children.  Have you ever thought about pursuing that opportunity?  There was a recent episode where you flew your family out to Pittsburgh so you obviously have the resources to get a private jet and do whatever.  At the same time you couldn't be bothered to use that same jet and fly home for a few hours to see your youngest daughter go to her first day of kindergarten.  What's up with that?  I wouldn't miss my children's first day of school for anything.

Question 4: What is it about marriage that scares you so much?  I realize you have lived a lifestyle in which you can do whatever you want with whomever yet most of the girls from Rock of Love and most of the groupies I see on your current show are…a bit rough.  It's not like these women are anything special...in my eyes at least.

Question 5: Why is it that you seem to be distancing yourself from the rest of the guys in Poison?  I know there has been some disagreements and somewhat of a rough history with some guys but, Poison was the band that got you to where you are now.  I have seen you perform with Poison on multiple occasions but I want to see you with the band playing Poison songs rather than Bret Michael doing Poison songs.  What are the future plans for Poison, if any?

Question 1: Wow, it’s been a brutal year for you.  Looking back and being completely honest, do you wish you would have retired after the NFC Championship game last year?  Is the reason you came back because you feel you A) couldn’t end your career on an interception B) Feel that you lost the game for your team?

Question 2: Your streak of consecutive games played was just halted this past Monday.  If you had your career to do over, would you have done things the same way?  I am a huge fan of yours and believe you are one of the best to ever play the game however sometimes I believe you hurt your team by playing injured.  Do you ever think about that?

Question 3: Do you still really enjoy playing football or would you rather be playing flag football in your wrangler commercials?  It just seems as if you aren’t the same person which I suppose could be from nagging injuries etc.

Question 4: Why on Earth did you send texts and photos to Jennifer Sterger?  Regardless of it being morally wrong since you are married, you never leave records or anything that can be traced.  If you are Brett Favre, who is a super celebrity, worth millions and adored by the world, you have to know people are out there to take you down.  What were you thinking? I would think at your age, you would know that no girl really wants to see a dick pic.  It’s not sexy by anyone’s standards to receive a cock-o-gram; use your head and by that I mean the one on top of your body.

Question 5: Do you think this Jennifer Sterger is a piece of garbage or what?  Someone who hangs on to evidence like texts or photos for years and only releases them when her star is fading is despicable.  What would you say to her if you two were put together alone?

Question 1: I have heard you did not approve and/or care for the movie “Social Network,” what was it about that movie that you did not like?

Question 2: When you created facebook, you had the intension of connecting college students and probably in the back of your mind you toyed with the idea of world domination.  Now that you have achieved this unbelievable goal and gained a fortune from it, what is next for you?

Question 3: I am a musician and had been using Myspace for many years.  A couple years ago I switched from myspace to facebook but I have to admit that I miss some of the features for bands on myspace.  Are there any plans to evolve facebook to be more band friendly in terms of being able to post songs etc?

Question 4:  What effect has twitter had on facebook?  I have to confess, I am not on twitter but I have been thinking about investing some time into investigating it a bit more.  So, along the same lines as my myspace questions, do you plan on implementing something similar to twitter on facebook in the future?

Question 5:  Do you think it was planning and execution that led to the creation and success of facebook or did you get lucky?

Question 1:  As everyone knows, you had a year of ups and downs.  You won an academy award and soon after learned of your husband’s infidelity.  The world was shocked when the press reported Jesse James was cheating but deep down inside…I don’t believe you were as shocked as people were led to believe?  I admittedly do not know you or Jesse but just as an outsider looking in and seeing the differences in both of your lifestyles before your marriage, I cannot say I was shocked when the news broke.  Also, when the pictures of the woman he was cheating with came out, I can’t say I was surprised about that either.

Question 2: Where you more embarrassed or angry when you found out Jesse was being unfaithful?  Even though you had to endure embarrassment and pain throughout the entire cheating ordeal, things sort of worked out for you in the end.  You became America’s sweetheart and gained the sympathy of a nation. 

Question 3:  What is it going to be like for you raising your son that you had recently adopted with Jesse?  Is he going to be involved in this child’s life?  One thing I have to say is how annoyed I am with Jesse’s actions as you two were going through the adoption process.  If he was cheating he shouldn’t have been trying to bring a child into that mess.

Question 4: What is your biggest regret in terms of roles you took in movies?  Is “Demolition Man” up there on the list or how about “All About Steve” or “Forces of Nature?” 

Question 5: Now that you are single and Ryan Reynolds and Scarlett Johansen are done, how about you hook up with Scarlett?  I mean, that kiss you shared with her on the MTV movie awards could open the doors to something hot.  I’m just saying!

Question 1:  I was rooting for you on America’s Got Talent because I knew you had more talent than anyone on that show.  At what age did you or your family realize the gift you had been given and start supporting you and your talent?  Every time I watched you on America’s Got Talent I was mesmerized by your voice, I was able to see, hear and experience a true prodigy.

Question 2: You said in previous interviews that need to keep training and attending voice lessons, aren’t you better than your actual vocal instructors by now?  What are you being taught that still benefits you to this day?

Question 3: What are your long term goals and dreams for your career?  I admittedly have no idea of the Opera world but what is the pinnacle of greatness in that particular genre?

Question 4: Do you plan on moving into a more pop genre at any point?  Since you have such a beautiful voice and seem pretty charismatic on stage and in interviews, please stay away from the lure of pop music.  The people in that genre are different and even though are very talented; it is a much different talent. 

Question 5: Do you have time available to be a child and do the things other kids do?  Everyone dreams about becoming a star but…are you becoming a celebrity at the expense of being young?
